[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=width,465,true] dear future, TEMPLATE BY MOTHER LANCELOT The sand on these shores were much softer and warmer than Lancelot had imagined they would be. Curiously, as he sat on a rock, he decided to dip his bare feet into the blanket of sand that circled the island. He grew up traveling and moving from place to place, around the plains and grass lands as a young child. So naturally, he felt the urge to explore and seek new places. He was a bit surprised at how soft the sand was, but not at all displeased. It was a good feeling between his toes. Lancelot felt glad that he decided to wander into this kind of island. The small community here gave off a very friendly and peaceful atmosphere, much like his nomadic group did long ago. The people inhabiting the island were very kind-hearted. At least it was a nice break from busy and idling people in city streets. He made a mental note to plan to come to more smaller and pleasant places like this in the future. Lancelot sighed, stretching out his arms rather lazily and leaned back a bit more as he transfixed his eyes onto the sky. He felt awfully peaceful, almost lazy even. The sky was very clear today. There were rarely much clouds floating in the sky so all the brunette could see was mainly blue, blue, and more blue. Of course, with his eye patch on he used to it by now though, so it wasn't a big deal. Still, it was a real pain to deal with in the beginning. He was careless years ago than he was now. He managed to live with the patch on, but he disliked it when people tried touching it, or even worse, removing it. In fact, sometimes he gave off a image of a pirate, believe or not, to some people. Snapping out of her wandering thoughts, Lancelot had averted his gaze back onto the ground, and then he looked around himself. He was sure he hadn't been here for too long. Beside him on the ground were the rest of his usual apparel and his weapon. Seeing as the island wasn't exactly too dangerous, Lancelot didn't feel the need to have his weapon equipped and ready. Well, at least for now anyway. The young man was well aware of his surroundings, and so far he hadn't detected anything threatening around so it was still safe. He couldn't help but also note that the shores here felt pretty empty right now. From the looks of it, he might be the only one currently relaxing here, which was odd. He was sure he heard that villagers often came here. Perhaps they were wary of himself? That wouldn't make sense, since Lancelot did his best to present himself as a non-threatening character. His attention was brought to the ball that had suddenly ended up near his feet. It didn't hit him hard or anything, it was more like it rolled over to where he was sitting. Lancelot curiously gazed at the ball for a minute wondering how it got there. It was an odd looking ball to him. Lancelot was never familiar with any sports of any kind. The one-eyed man was about to pick up the ball when he heard quiet footsteps coming towards him. He may have to rethink the possibility that he was alone here. He turned over and looked at the other figure, most likely the one responsible for the ball that came out of nowhere. "Hm?" TAGS: open! NOTES: derpy first post, my bad WORD COUNT: 587 |
