We tend to think we're awesome - don't be foiled by our sweet demeanors, we're little devils really, heh. This here is our welcome section - which I'm not doing a good job of I must say. Yes, that means we are NOT really canon - depends on how you look at it though. We are very friendly and we adore getting new members. We at Solemn Indulgence decree that anyone can join this forum - whether they know the stories or not. For this purpose we have made a friendly guide on how to get by - and getting your new character going. This forum is mandatory! Everything MUST be read; no exclusions please. You will find everything you need for creating a character and much more. We recommend you to read everything here before even proceeding to make a character.
SITE UPDATES AND INFORMATION, (3 sub-boards) Hello folks! You've reached the site updates forum - where the admins will obviously update your asses on stuff to the forum. We're typically lazy, so don't expect this to be done every week. We all accept bribes, cookies and cakes please! The updates at the top is where we will inform you all, this forum is just for show in case we need any announcements. We may offer more things as time passes, but we'll see.
REGISTRATION, (3 sub-boards) We allow canons, originals, anime/video game characters; check out our helpful guide for more information on what is available. You do need not need to know about any of the genres this site provides, as long as you are willing to read up anything available. There are two applications; one is a wordy coding, and the other a regular application, for those that struggle looking for those bits and bobs. Canons can be found in our helpful guide, while reservations are available in this forum.
THE HELPFUL GUIDE, (1 sub-board) This forum is designed to help you to the very fullest, before sending us a question in the c-box, please read up on this forum. If the information you require isn't listed here, then you may ask an admin. Preferably the owner, which is Mousie. If another admin doesn't know the answer, do not attempt to badger them, send a pm to the owner and wait patiently. Information in this forum is relevant to canons, originals, and anything in between.
THE MISSION CENTRE, (1 sub-board) Jobs are a daily base of life, whether it is teamwork with your peers, or an assassination request sent from the higher ups. Either way, you need jobs/money to survive on Solemn Indulgence. Anyone can post up a job, and admins will post up NPC jobs available [you may choose to do as you wish with an NPC job request.] There are no limits on how many jobs you can take, but please do not horde them all, it's unfair on other members. If you decide to post a mission, you can advertise in the c-box for people to partake, provided you do not overdo it.

PLOTTING ADVERTISEMENTS, Yo, here is the plotting advertisements! What? You don't know what they are? Well, they are of great use, and are great for plotting storylines or connections with certain characters. Though some canons have their own ready made connections, we do encourage you to post here and get to know some of our original characters. However be reasonable about it though, someone who has taken the path of evil isn't going to run around with some do-gooder; are they now? Though forbidden friendships always seem to be the best. ;3
WANTED ADVERTISEMENTS, Personal advertisements are all the rage now. We all want specific people to roleplay with, and we all have neat ideas who our ultimate rival could be, right? Well stop thinking those ideas, and put them down into writing! Get them in here now, right this minute. This forum is to help those who need certain connections - this does not include canons please. Have a good roleplay, but don't have anyone to carry it out with? THE BULLETIN BOARD, The bulletin board is based from the gardens student board which allowed students to post their feelings in anonymous ways. This here is a giant bulletin board, whether you're a hero looking for someone, or a villain searching for a fight, here is a place where you can talk. You can spread gossip, fear, etc etc. HOWEVER, it all must be in character and in guest form. Meaning no usernames shown! If a username is shown, admins will delete the post.
several years ago, a man named zack fair changed the lives of our young heroes. a man whose life was taken earlier than it should have. with time rewritten, zack and aerith never meet; while zack is saved by the shinra just in the nick of time. his death never shown, but his nature with shinra is forever torn. cloud and zack are reunited together, with zack being the true hero of our story. tifa's call for help is what draws cloud and his best friend to help avalanche. zack takes control of the situation - partly because he is attracted to her, and that she is cloud's friend. the story unfolds like our real version - except with zack in the lead.
the same ideals are upheld, with sephiroth toying with both cloud and zack this time. aerith and tifa are both close to cloud, but as time passes, tifa starts up a kindred 'love' relationship with zack - which puts cloud up to breaking point, though he hides that feeling away. his only confidant is aerith, whom he sees more of a best friend, but she sees the pain he feels and tries to comfort him.
the story is now set presently in their journey, while trials and tribulations are still at play. the story has taken a strange turn since zack has just saved aerith from death point - whereas cloud could not, and almost kills her again; however, they have lost holy in the process to sephiroth clones. meanwhile, cloud is furthering into his own demons, unable to forgive himself and torments himself even further - unbeknownst to only aerith, whom he has made promise not to say anything.
war has overcome our once peaceful world; time has been rewritten to satisfy the likes of the heartless - our heroes once again in a pickle. they are not given the satisfaction of destroying adel, but instead ultimecia has taken over the tyrannic sorceress. she cannot uphold her ideals with time compression though because of sin's meddling, and has since taken a shine to finding ellone alternately.
while adel and ultimecia run amok, laguna is unable to do anything except keep ellone out of harms way. though our heroes are faced with this predicament, it is nothing compared to the new company they are keeping - which includes zidane and garnet, whom are desperately trying to find a way back to their own world.
our story begins with the search to stop adel and ultimecia, with rinoa suggesting other worlds for their conquest. so their search for sin is inevitable, and thus selphie takes it upon herself to travel to the worlds.
time has not been altered in gaia, but people have been gradually disappearing. since zidane and garnet were not able to help stop queen brahne and kuja, they have since began causing mayhem. queen brahne is attacking anything in distance, and has declared herself ruler of the mist continent.
regent cid is doing everything in his power to stop her, but has fallen down to her armies - while our heroes search for the missing zidane and garnet, but alas without any luck. eiko and vivi are being protected by steiner for the most part; while the others have begun to do their own thing.
with the world in dire straits and no one seeming to help, the world of gaia is slowly crumbling to pieces. our heroes are doing everything they can to stay alive; many of the villagers though keep disappearing to the strange creature called sin.
sin was destroyed a few years ago by our high summoner yuna, and since then much has happened. while she was separated by her love tidus, they soon found themselves back together once again by fate. a month has passed since then, and though time has not been rewritten, it has been disturbed. with sin taken outside of its time source to infiltrate other worlds, yuna has since travelled with company to other worlds. she knows the time disturbance is nothing to do with sin - but obviously does not know what is.
she is searching for a way to destroy sin again, by making acquaintances along the way with other heroes, but has not been able to strike up any friendships. [though she has met with sora once.] while people in spira are world hopping instead of being destroyed, the world believes that it isn't their 'sin' that has returned, but another version made by the heartless.
people disappear every day; yuna and the others have no idea what it is happening, but have since taken to investigating by world hopping in the celsius. they hope to solve the mysteries before they are too wiped off spira - and the world is forever lost.
sora and co are our main protagonists in the main site plot; they have been travelling to different worlds to find the source of all that is happening. sora's life has been disrupted also, because of this, sora's and kairi's nobodies have been resurrected as 'people.'
not even king mickey knows the cause of this but sora, kairi, riku, roxas and namine [with the disney crew in tow] have begun to work together to find the cause. with many of them being keyblade holders; they choose to hop around worlds looking for the cause of their situation - and obviously bring peace to all of the worlds.
they have all met up with yuna, and have since begun to realise what has been happening around in similar worlds - but have yet to fix upon a certain enemy.
Final Fantasy XII takes place mostly in the Kingdom of Dalmasca, a small city-state in the world of Ivalice. A neutral party in the past wars between the neighboring Empires of Archadia and Rozarria, Dalmasca was ultimately conquered by Archadia and reduced to the status of an occupied state under Archadian rule, when its King Raminas signed the city into Imperial Rule. As a result, formerly loyal knight Basch murders his king for betrayal. Witnessing the betrayal is young knight Reks, who reveals Basch's betrayal in his last breaths after being killed by his leader. Marquis Ondore, head of the sky city Bhujerba, narrates that the King's daughter, Ashe, had committed suicide after her newly wed husband, Rasler, is shot and killed with an arrow from an Archadian Imperial Soldier during the Battle of Nalbina Fortress. He also announces that Basch had been executed for high treason.
Having lived secluded from the outside world for many years, the citizens of Cocoon are now becoming anxious of what Pulse really holds. Recent contact with those from the world below has caused people to question one another and their ways of life. Wised up to the word on the street, the Sanctum of Cocoon have decreed a new edict: Any individuals suspected to be in contact with the world of Pulse are to be banished from the city unconditionally and cast into the harsh environment of the planet below.
The main character, Noctis - who is part of a lineage of kings, but is not yet king himself -, leads the country holding the last crystal, which is beneficial to the military. At one time, all the other countries also possessed a crystal, yet lost them in warfare. They pooled their resources into weapons, granting them firearms in exchange for swords and magic. A long cold war has gone on about the usage of the crystal. Recently, a peace treaty was talked about between the countries, but a group of marauders are beginning to break it.
The game's story focuses on a conflict between the Empire, a dictatorship slowly conquering the world, and the Returners, a rebel faction opposed to them. The Empire has acquired its great army through experiments with Espers, magical demi-gods that were thought to be myths. The Returners begin to seek magical power to fight the Empire on equal terms, and an amnesiac former imperial soldier, Terra Branford, eventually proves key to both sides for understanding magic and Espers.
The game centers around a group of four seeming strangers brought together by circumstance to save the Crystals, who have mysteriously begun shattering one by one. Eventually it is revealed that the villain Exdeath is behind this, as part of a plan to both release himself from his imprisonment, and to gain the power of the Void, a realm of nothingness which could bestow absolute power on one able to resist being absorbed by it. The four thus turn their attentions to defeat Exdeath and stopping the unstable energies of the Void from consuming their world.
The Earth is the name of the planet in the game Final Fantasy IV. It is divided into an Overworld and an Underworld. It is known to Lunarians as the Blue Planet. It has two satellites: The True Moon and the Red Moon.
One day, an earthquake opens up a previously hidden cavern in Altar Cave near the village of Ur on the floating continent. Four orphaned youths under the care of Topapa, the village elder, go exploring and come across a crystal of light. The Crystal of Wind. The crystal grants them a portion of its power and their first several jobs, and instructs them to go forth and restore balance to the world. Not knowing what to make of the crystal's pronouncements, but nonetheless recognizing the importance of its words, the four inform their adoptive family of their mission and set out to explore.
The story concerns the adventures of four youngsters from the kingdom of Fynn named Firion, Maria, Guy and Leon. Their parents are killed during an invasion by the army of The Emperor of Palamecia, who has summoned forth monsters from Hell in his quest to dominate the world.
The game begins with the appearance of the four youthful Warriors of Light, the protagonists of the story. The Warriors of Light each carry a darkened Crystal, one of each element. They arrive at Cornelia, a powerful kingdom that has just witnessed the kidnapping of its princess, Sarah, by a rogue knight named Garland who wants to acquire the kingdom. The Warriors of Light travel to the ruined Chaos Shrine in the corner of Cornelia, defeat Garland, and return Princess Sarah home. The grateful King of Cornelia builds a bridge that enables the Warriors of Light passage east of the country.

THE ARCHIVES, Sadly all threads must die and as a parting gift we allow them to stay in the big box of archives. You know so you can read them back again if you wish. GET YOUR GAME FACE ON, Well this funky little place holds our games - which love to be replied to by the way. It's lighthearted fun that all of you need to partake in. It's especially good if you have writer's block and are rolling around like a fool. Please remember that all games are in character though.
