The heart of the Archadian Empire, and its capital. The Imperial Senate is located here in the Administrative District. The city is run by members of the aristocracy, who generally look down upon those who are at a lower social status.Archades is a very segregated city . A social sign in the city is the wooden chop. The more you have of these chops, the higher your social status, and the more parts of the city you can access. Archades is also home of the famous Draklor Laboratory.

Rabanastre is a city separated into a northern sprawl, a southern sprawl, a marketplace, and a series of gates. In the North part of the city is the palace, inaccessible to the general public. Moogles operate a swift transportation system that allows players to teleport to different sections of the city.

Underneath the main city of Rabanastre is a series of tunnels that house Lowtown, the poor section of the city. Only the poor, the destitute, and the lost live in Lowtown. Imperials rarely venture down into Lowtown which is why many residents have relocated here. Vaan grew up in Lowtown. Underneath Lowtown is a series of waterways, that also contain a back door into the Royal Palace basement.

Nalbina Fortress is located just north-east of Rabanastre and marks the boarder of Dalmasca and Nabradia. It was here, during the Battle of Nalbina Fortress, that the Knights of Dalmasca were decimated, and Prince Rasler Heios succumbed to the arrow of an imperial soldier. A short while later, King Raminas was assassinated in the royal apartments, an event marking the end of autonomous rule for Dalmasca. After the imperials took control of Nalbina Fortress, it was utilized primarily as a prison. However, the city itself was rebuilt, and now contains a thriving market and airship dock.

The Nalbina Dungeons is a location in the land of Ivalice in Final Fantasy XII. It is a large portion of the fortress that dominates the city of Nalbina.

The Skycity of Bhujerba is a location in the land of Ivalice in Final Fantasy XII. A floating city, it tries to maintain neutrality at all times, but recent events have forced them to ally with Archadia.
