Baigan is the Captain of the Guard. The Devil's Road leads from Baron to Mysidia, and the Ancient Waterway connects the city to the castle. The town of Baron also is one of the four towns in the world with a Training Room.

It was founded by the Sage Minwu, who drifted ashore 500 years before the events of the game. Practicing magic was initially a benevolent hobby accessible to everybody, but people eventually became corrupted by power and competition. Minwu was enraged by this and sealed away magic, putting an end to the Old Age of Magic. He later restored magic but made it so that only certain persons could use it; this was the start of the New Age of Magic. It is inhabited by wizards, and it is ruled by an elder. It is the hometown of Tellah, Palom, and Porom. It is one end of the Devil's Road which connects Baron and Mysidia. It is also home to the Tower of Prayers, where the Elder prays for those he cares about.

Troia, also known as Toroia, is a city in Final Fantasy IV, and home to the Crystal of Earth. Troia is a primarily matriarchal society, where eight female Epopts operate as the town leaders. Women fill other primarily "male" roles as well, such as being the guards, soldiers, doctors, and shopkeepers of the castle and its village. The castle contains a treasure room, and permission is needed to access it. There is also a hospital.

Eblan is a location in the game Final Fantasy IV. It is a kingdom on the southwest island on Earth's Overworld, near the Tower of Babil. It is ruled by a clan of Ninjas, and their most powerful Ninja is the playful Edge, who also happens to be the prince of Eblan. Although the castle is situated on grassy plains on the Overworld map, the field surrounding the castle on the main castle map is shown as a desert.

It is completely inhabited by Toads, Pigs, and Small People, who mine mythril from an unknown mine. Toads refine the mythril and small people process it. The Pigs forge weapons out of the refined mythril.

The castle contains an entire town, a Crystal, a hospital, a military base, a Fat Chocobo (known as "The Godsbird"), and the infamous "Developer's room".
